The FBI lied about vetting Brett Kavanaugh

Our big story in today’s UnPresidented podcast is that the FBI is now admitting, three years too late, that they didn’t fully vet Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination to be on the Supreme Court. It’s really egregious, though not necessarily something we didn’t already know.

Among other topics on the show, we dig into the news that Trump friend and campaign adviser Tom Barrack has been indicted and arrested — we get into the implications for Trump and his family and friends. We then talk about Covid, and Delta, and all the latest on that from the NFL, the Olympics and more.

And finally, we get into the latest on the Insurrection Committee, and the news that Nancy Pelosi might just appointed Adam Kinzinger and other normal Republicans to the committee herself.
