The Syrian rebels stand with Trayvon Martin

The rebels in Syria, who earlier made news by speaking out in support of Boston following the Boston Marathon bombings, have now spoken out about the verdict acquitting George Zimmerman of murder in the Trayvon Martin case.

As they did with the marathon, the rebels, who are fighting Syria’s dictator, Bashar al-Assad, posted a photo on Facebook of themselves with a banner of support for the Martin family.

And here was the image the Syrian rebels sent in support of Boston after the bombing:

    Blatant propaganda.

It’s also ironic that Sunni Muslims are holding a sign offering their condolences for an act committed by Sunni Muslims… (Boston Bombing)

They’re certainly hoping for one. I seem to recall someone else who wanted to start a race war, who was it…oh, yes, Charles Manson!

  3. Jackie Hill says:

Fox news is going to start a race war. WATCH!!!!!
They should be taken off the air.

trayvon was actually the one standing his ground since george z was the instigator, if trayvon had killed george he would have been found guilty of second degree murder, in racist america there was no way a black person could win this fight justice be dammed.

It’s such a shame that the 1%–along with their 9% enablers–continue to keep us all divided, and at each others throats.

We should do something about that…

  6. moodyman says:

So there are only 7 Syrian rebels now?

  7. keirmeister says:

I can’t say this is awesome because the circumstances are too sad, but it says something about the human spirit and the kinship created by suffering.

And…no deference to Tom Friedman…it shows just how small our world has become.

  8. Wanna know the truth about Assad’s Army? They kill civilians
in cold blood and enjoy it. Watch these
videos and let me know if Assad’s opposition deserves to be armed or not.

Never not touching… maybe there’s hope for us yet.
