I wonder if people like him will look back and wish he would have done things differently. Steve Ruza

Let them raise the cost of cantaloupes, tomatoes, bell peppers, beans, corn, etc.. Being Latino myself, I made sure I learned the art of farming (on a smaller scale) from my elders – mainly my 98yr old grandma that has taught me a few tricks that are NOT taught anywhere else or can’t find in books. I know how to and do plant and harvest my own vegetables.. all in my own back yard. Who wants to pay for over priced produced that is often loaded with pesticides anyway?

Sucks for those who can’t have their own garden though.. I would recommend befriending someone that owns a little bit of land and splitting cost as well as rewards to maintain a garden. Or just buy locally grown produce at your farmer’s market.

CNN just gave King a major stage to do the Hate on Latinos this week.

african american and latino police officer, difficult job, his shoes are clean, uniform ready for inspection, ethics in check, fidelity squared away, calves like cantaloupes, full battle rattle, the energy arises from the ground through his feet and out of a barrel to serve and protect…semper fi get some!

    hhhmmm…peace on you!

The fellows who have brains like cantaloupes raised the price of cantaloupes and other fruits and vegetables at supermarkets by passing state laws against Latino immigrants who not only were willing to do the work but were efficient at it. Those citizens who offered to take harvesting jobs quickly found out that at piece work rates their inability to tell when the produce was ripe for picking and caused so much damage to that they did pick that their pay didn’t cover the cost of commuting to the job site and quit. And when those legislators saw the higher prices they probably blamed the labor unions that had no members along the supply chain.

Unfortunately, their growing bagger supporters ain’t helpin’ things much.

Even IF “Latino immigrants have calves like cantaloupes because they haul so much marijuana on their backs all day long”, they are displaying a better work ethic than Steve King.

  9. Papa Bear says:

I don’t know if it’s gone up or if they’re just out of the “bigoted & insane” closet…

  12. Mike_in_the_Tundra says:

Hopefully, the answer is no. Perhaps the bigoted ones are just getting louder and stupider.

  13. BeccaM says:

Is it just me, or has the number of appallingly bigoted and insane people elected to Congress actually gone up exponentially in the last 10-15 years?
