Don’t get mad, get even. Donate to the opponents of Republicans who voted to repeal Obamacare

Republicans in the US House of Representatives have just voted to gut Obamacare, and make your health insurance so expensive that many Americans would no longer be able to afford insurance.

It’s time for revenge. I worked as a lawyer in the US Senate. And the only thing politicians in Washington understand is fear. We need to strike the fear of God in them and threaten their political survival, not only so that Republicans in the House understand what a grave mistake they have just made, but also so that Republicans in the US Senate understand what kind of pain they are going to suffer if they go along with the House GOP lan to gut Obamacare.

ActBlue has set up a convenient page whereby you can make a single donation, and they will split it for you and give an each portion to every Democratic challenger of House Republicans who wavered in their support of the Affordable Care Act and its protections.

Please donate now to unseat those moderate Republicans who knifed us in the back.

Under the GOP bill just passed, insurance companies will be able to charge you whatever they want if you have a pre-existing condition like asthma, cancer or simply being a woman (which was considered a pre-existing condition before Obamacare.

Under the GOP bill, healthy people age 50-64 can see their premiums increase 66%.

Under the GOP bill, insurance companies will no longer be required to cover maternity benefits, prescription drugs, emergency care and more. Under this legislation, we will go back to the way it used to be, where insurance companies simply refused to cover pregnancies and other conditions they deemed unworthy.

Don’t just get mad, get even.

Also, add your name to this petition pledging to donate and volunteer to unseat every Republican who has voted to repeal Obamacare. We can scare them with our numbers. Let’s show them just how strong the Resistance really is.

  • And call your Senator. If we can get at least three Republicans to vote against this it will not pass.

If I am still here next year I plan to vote in the Republican primary to vote against my Congressman and for anyone that runs against them. They won’t be better but at least I will be voting to fire his Hippocratic Oath breaking sorry Teabagger ass.

Democrats are notoriously too complacent and not motivated enough to get out and vote in great numbers. We don’t have strong leaderships and need to replace current DCC leadership, especially Pelosi. She is a dinosaur and is no longer effective. I’ve lost confidence in her (impeachment is off the table). I sincerely hope Bill Clinton permanently stays out of spotlight and out of politics. Damn, what the hell was Bill Clinton thinking when he arrogantly met up with AG Loretta Lynch on tarmac. I have not forgiven Bill for signing DADT and DOMA. He has no morals or principles and never will. I am one of few Democrats who believed Bill should have been impeached for his sexual dalliances in oval office.
