Comedy duo Andy Cobb and Maribeth Monroe take us to the year 2018, when the Trumpocalypse is in full swing.

This is really well done.

I personally think it’s a choice between a glass of water from a mountain creek, vs. a glass of water downstream from a sewage plant. Both are inferior to a glass of tap water (which is itself dependent on where the water is taken from), but the mountain creek water is less likely to make me sick, let alone kill me, than the sewage water will. It also tastes better.

Trump is sewage. End of line.

Lincoln would not let the republic fall into the hands of Trump.

The road to a progressive America begins with Democrats winning the Presidency and the Senate (and hopefully the House). It continues with getting Congress working again – and then electing liberal Democrats again. Next, primary challenges against Blue Dog Democrats…

One step at a time, we can make this journey.

We fuckin’ tree huggers never throw in the towel!!!

    Somethin’ in our DNA, perhaps?

  • And, whether it has comparatively less evil than the alternative. If you offer me two poisoned glasses of water, rather than say no and die, I’ll take the one that’ll make me sick rather than the one that will kill me.

I of course don’t think that’s what this election is about, but for those who do, it’s on point.

Internet readers have become so accustomed to genuine morons and conservative trolls vainly pretending to be leftists that their senses have become dulled to them. In response to your post, John, I give you a quotation from someone who was neither a moron nor a lying troll, Abraham Lincoln:

“The true rule in determining to embrace or reject anything, is not whether it have any evil in it; but whether it have more of evil, than of good. There are few things wholly evil, or wholly good. Almost everything, especially of governmental policy, is an inseparable compound of the two; so that our best judgment of the preponderance between them is continually demanded.” — Speech in the House of Representatives, June 20, 1848
