PO’d kangaroo takes down drone (seriously)

This is pretty great.

A drone was checking out some kanagaroos in Australia, until the kangaroo — baby kanga in tow — finally got supremely ticked off and took the drone out.

It’s a pretty amazing video. See it below.

Did you get a good luck at the end of her paws? She looks like someone you wouldn’t want to get cornered by. Looks like Edward Scissorhands.

I’m surprised these drones do not have an altimeter on them that would have put this at a safe distance above the marsupial and out of striking distance. Or perhaps this person wasn’t watching his and was more interested in swooping in too low for that vantage shot which did them in.

Once again we learn: Never mess with a mother protecting her child!

Okay, this proves it: The world needs a helluva lot more roos!

  • They can be pretty aggressive if they’re threatened.

And I’m not going to comment on the probable IQ of anyone who thinks it’s a neat idea to buzz a mother anything and her young with a drone.

  • ‘Roos are pretty even-tempered, apparently, but can be provoked.

I read somewhere that they can not only swim, but if pursued by a predator into water will attempt to drown it.

  • And especially with her or his baby right there. Was probably not pleased at all.
