Kangaroo cat-fight in Australia suburbs

Someone posted some amazing video of a kangaroo fight in Australia. I’ve seen moose in the backyard in Alaska, and skunks in Chicago (which were awfully gorgeous, btw), but never kangaroos in Australia.

It takes place, reportedly, in New South Wales.

And I usually hate the music people put on these videos, but this is rather appropriate:

Actually, I’m kind of liking the music from the original as well — the Nutcracker (appropriate in various ways).

Australians have spent the last 50 years avidly trying to dispel the myth that their land has kangaroos hopping down the mainstreet. Back to the drawing board..

It’s never a fair fight between a cat and a Kangaroo.

  3. I particularly like the kind of half-hearted slaps at each other.

Now imagine if they both had guns……….and then remember, of course, it’s not guns that kill kangaroos it’s other kangaroos.

They have to be siblings. This is like every fight I had with my brother growing up. Half-hearted punches, lots of sparring.
