Stephen Colbert throws down a penalty flag over Michael Sam’s NFL draft kiss (video)

Comedian Stephen Colbert covered the kiss Michael Sam gave his boyfriend on hearing the news that he was drafted by the NFL’s St. Louis Rams.

Same is openly-gay, and it was big news when he came out recently, as the NFL has never had an openly-gay player.

Colbert had fun with it as only he can.

Colbert: “Folks, this is just wrong. In the NFL, sexuality is supposed to take place off camera. And the fans should only find out about it when the charges are filed.”

Colber was referring to the fact that numerous NFL players have a history of debauchery, drunken driving, spousal abuse, and more — yet no one has a problem with them being on TV.
