Karl Rove thinks Hillary Clinton has brain damage, and Colbert is on it (video)

You might have heard this week that GOP operative Karl Rove thinks Hillary Clinton has brain damage because, well, because she may be running for president and Republicans are desperate to undercut her in advance.

Stephen Colbert weighed in:

“And Hillary’s shown signs of mental frailty before. Just look at these pants she wore in the 1970s. Girl, that is a tramautic fashion injury.”

It’s too bad that falls like Clinton had and those horrible injuries sustained by those in car accident and combat are likened by calling them the same thing.

“We in the real world” usually do. But it’s actually called “traumatic brain injury” — and has been for quite some time. Some are just slower to catch up.

“…what we used to call a “concussion”.” We in the real world STILL call it a concussion.

I’m looking in this article for Rove’s quote that Hillary may have “brain damage”, as the article’s title implies. I don’t see anything but a remark that she may have suffered “traumatic brain injury” — what we used to call a “concussion”.

How is this even debatable? She fell, she slammed her head hard, she probably did get a concussion from that. So? This whole thing is a made-up “scandal” from desperate Democrats.

After all, the nickname Bush gave Rove was Turdblossom, right? Maybe he had coprocephalopathy back then too. Just sayin’. And, he was a college Republican too. Maybe his condition goes back to childhood or even prenatal conditions. Maybe concern trolling is genetic?

I dunno… Letterman made it pretty clear where his politics fell, so maybe Colbert will have the ability to apply a few purple-nurples where ones are deserved.

This is one of Colbert’s best. I will miss him when he leaves.

Yeah. As I’ve said, while I don’t have high hopes for a Clinton presidency at least Hillary Clinton would have the virtue of making Republican heads explode. As long as we (and she) are prepared for a load of truly epic and nauseatingly sexist bullshit about Clinton’s looks or her age or how a grandmother can’t be taken seriously as a President or other such nonsense.

As they’re beginning to say, Only Hillary can stop Hillary.

  • cole3244

you’re right why i was thinking he was going on the tonight show i don’t know especially since letterman is the only one i watch because of his humor and his politics.

  • chris10858

Agreed. I love him but wonder if he’ll do well once the new network stifles his comedy.

CBS… but yeah, traditionally the late night talk show hosts on the big three networks lean towards being apolitical. They only really delve into politics for minor comedic value. I wouldn’t count on the Late Show becoming anything remotely close to what he’s done up until now.

stephen stephen stephen, how much will nbc rein him, too much is my guess.

Even if Hillary Clinton has no intention of running whatsoever, I hope she teases it right until the very last second. Maybe even mount a half-hearted primary campaign. Just to make them spend ridiculous amounts of money, and continue to froth at the mouth while spouting utter nonsense that makes them look like idiots even more than their usual blather.
