Scary avalanche of ice filmed falling from building

This is a rather amazing video of a huge avalanche of ice falling off the roof of an apartment building. I can’t figure out where it happened, but it appeared to be published yesterday.

UPDATE: Reader Annita writes to say that this is apparently Plano, Texas, a suburb of Dallas.

I remember walking down the street in DC a few years back and having a huge chunk of ice fall off a roof and nearly hit me. The person next to me thought it was funny. It wasn’t.
