Adorable 5 y.o. signs Christmas carol for her deaf parents during school pageant (video)

An adorable five year old girl named Claire was in her kindergarten Christmas pageant singing a Santa-version of “Bingo was his name-o.” But she wanted her deaf parents to be able to enjoy the song, so she signed it for them in the middle of the pageant.

The girl is a total ham. They also did Rudolph and Dreidel Dreidel too.

These kind of kids’ pageants are some of the things I miss the most having been the out-of-town uncle, with my nieces and nephews living back in the Chicago area. I just can’t get enough of this stuff.

And yes, the joke of the day is that at least this little interpreter is no fake :)  You can check out Claire’s mom’s Facebook page, where she talks a bit more about the performance.

Fox ‘News’ makes it’s money by doing exactly that, making up a lie, propagating that lie until they themselves believe the lie, and finally calling for the death of any one that dares point out they are lying.

And to think Bill O’Reilly’s War on Christmas rants began when someone sent him a memo from a small town elementary school in Texas advising mothers to bring “plain white napkins” as donations for a planned Christmas party. Never has so little been built up and expanded to provide so much rancor.

Are you kidding me? She is 5 years old!!!! I know adults that are crappy signers and don’t have near as much enthusiasm. In no way do I believe you are actually apart of the deaf community because if you were you would be PROUD!

Clearly a major Progressive assault in the “Fox “News” Presents: THE WAR ON CHRISTMAS®™”

The hilarious thing is this 5 year old girl is better than the ANC’s state function Nelson Mandela interpreter!

Cute isn’t the word I’d use… The kid’s a HAM…. Her signing was OK, but it was just annoying… I guess her parents would like it, but I think most of us Deaf and Hard of Hearing people wouldn’t be as excited… Sorry…

Palin will be all over this for taking Christ out of Christmas. Songs about Santa, a reindeer and a [GASP] – a dreidel but nothing about Christ (and no mention of her new book, either.) Caraboobie will be livid.

    Ahhhh thanks John!

Amazing. The boy next to her was really into things also. Reminds me of the time I went to a kiddie Holiday Celebration at a Waldorf school. The kids sang a bunch of songs. None were from Western/European cultures.

    But that was in Northampton.
