Oh I didn’t mean to imply that Nicho was wrong.

I was just saying that, to me, all Christian organizations should be avoided. I personally don’t donate to any because I feel like charity should come without strings…and all I ever saw was strings attached to the free hot meals in the park, or the blankets given to the homeless. Maybe they should just feed and clothe people and let them find their own way spirtually.

One thing to keep in mind, Whitewitch, is that the SA is not the only or even the major christer group calling for our death. Lively and Obama BBFs Warren and McClurkin, Jimmy Swaggart and many others have made similar statements regarding GLBT communities here and abroad.

Nicho is exactly correct saying ” Putin and Russia don’t have a lock on this stuff”

  7. Bill_Perdue says:

The Republicans needn’t have bothered – Obamacare was a failure from the beginning, speaking in terms of the needs of working people for health care.

It’s a corrupt “reform” intended to enrich the owners and managers of insurance companies. HMOs and big pharmaceutical companies at the expense of working people. Obama and the Congress, by accepting bribes and passing this utterly fraudulent bill have dug another nail in the political coffin of parties that are little more than lap dogs for the rich.

Hi Nicho – thanks for sharing. As a side note, the statements by the “Commander” were made over a year ago and the Salvation Army terminated him and quickly made an apology. It is however, a Christian organization. I have found helping people quite satisfying, but I never contribute to any organization that is “Christian”, as I feel it is unfair to offer help and then beat the person with a big Christian guilt stick.

Good point. In this case the ‘sugar’ that the public might get ‘addicted’ to is——-Heathcare! Who the hell do we think we are? Americans or something.
Nothing will harm the jobs market more than more jobs in the healthcare industry and people having a basic level of healthcare available to them and to their children.

the point of Cruz fillibustering the defunding of Obamacare and speaking against the program not the bill is bizarre. They have never said what is wrong with it and how to fix it just its bad. Actually the republicans know it is a fair health plan otherwise they would let it go into effect and in 2014 gain house and senate seats campaigning against it and in 2016 bury Hillary with the horrible Obamacare program. but that are not doing that they are stopping a good plan because they don’t want Americans to see that it is a fair plan and can be modified to make it better as we go.The other thing they have done is rename the plan Obamacare and this name will live for ever. 20 years from now everyone will still refer to it as Obamacare and the Republicans will keep saying the name of that Kenyan, Muslim son of a xxxxxx.

You just can’t make this shit up.

Like Jon Stewart I find it hypocritical of the Republican Right to argue that providing healthcare to every American is evasive to women when they mandate by law in some states vaginal probes to women seeking abortions. If the Republicans get their way on defunding Obamacare we’ll all get it up the rear.

    OT — but important

See, Putin and Russia don’t have a lock on this stuff. Jingle, jingle, Merry Christmas.
