Colbert on being Miss America while Indian-American (video)

Stephen Colbert weighs in on the Miss America pageant, and the specific “controversy” over the first Indian-American, Nina Davuluri, winning.  A number of people thought it was inappropriate that someone so dark – they of course assumed she was Muslim (she’s not) – should win Miss “America” so close to 9/11.




As I noted, at least Twitter after bashing her, came to her defense.
