Guy on motorcycle stops to help elderly blind man walking in the road (video)

A guy in Vancouver, Canada out motorcycling with friends sees a blind man walking down, and on, the street, instead of the sidewalk.

He turns his motorcycle around to see if the man realizes he’s on a street and not the sidewalk. It appears the man did not.

A really neat video.

The headline makes it seem as if a Hell’s Angel, after beating a member of a rival gang with a tow chain, suddenly stopped and helped the little old man across the road. Afterwards, he rescued kittens from a well and called to see if his mother needed anything from the grocery.

From this weekend: “The peace was shattered in Vancouver Saturday as young and old picked up
their weapons and descended on Stanley Park for a fight.”

    Why do you hate Canadians?

  • Aye, but sometimes the law needs to be broken, for the greater good.

Diet coke? What, no coffee? ( oh, it’s only me trying to catch up in a morning after a busy weekend, sorry. ) ;-)

Two illegal U-turns and crossing a double-yellow line, but for all for a good cause.

  • It restores my faith in humanity, to see selfless acts like this.

What was really nice was that he did not talk to the blind man like he was mentally deficient. He spoke to him as one human being to another and treated him with respect.

scooter riders like me are the best ! :)

    Hee, hee!

  • I like to think that If I haven’t occasinonally made you spit coke or coffee on your keyboard, then I haven’t done my job.

  • Okay down girl (or boy). Sometimes a post about helping a blind man isn’t an indictment of an entire nation :-) Sometimes a compliment is just a compliment. Save the anger for my cat videos. :-)

Thank you, put a big smile on my face!

“One more reason I love Canadians.”

Because that could never happen in the U.S.? I don’t know why it makes “Canadians” worthy of love–maybe this one Canadian–but Canadians (especially in light of the Rehtaeh Parsons suicide)? Seems like a mighty big brush you’re painting them with (and tarring Americans by comparison on the backstroke).

    actually , it’s a scooter …

canada eh and vive la france.

  • Zorba

Bwahaha! Pardon me, John, but you may owe me a new keyboard after I spewed my Diet Coke over it. ;-)

  • Though I’d settle for hot food and rich guys.

  • It’s all the rich food and hot guys :)
