Thrilling video of Portland PD high-speed chase… wait for it…

The Portland Police Department released a video yesterday of a high-speed chase of a speeder going 52 in a 35MPH zone.

Traffic Officer Mark James pursued the scoundrel, and caught it all on tape.

Rather than provide a spoiler, just watch the video. It’s only 1:31 long. You’ll be glad you did.

  • Good. I love a cop who has the right priorities.

  • Good for him. Wasn’t worth the animals’ deaths (not to mention the danger they could have caused to motorists) to catch a slight speeder.

  • And I’m tech savvy enough to know not to look at anything but the video box, once I read there might be a spoiler to see. hehe

  • ah, how cute.

Thank you, John. I was in the middle of a stress attack and that made me feel much better…for a minute anyway. Every little bit helps!

Evidently not enough time to put on seat belts?

  • You need bumper-mounted duckling countermeasures deployment.

I’m not tech savvy yet to notice the tags. I thought it was adorable.

    I never get that lucky…

  • Well I was hoping people wouldn’t see them, I need the tags for google searches

  • Cute. Unfortunately the tags appearing right under the video kinda give it all away.
