When wombats go bad (video)

I’d posted a video the other day of an adorable wombat in Australia befriending an adorable Austrian in Australia.

Now I give you the other side of the wombat. The not so nice side.

Apparently, this Australian animal video guy, Andrew Ucles, was trying to explore a pipe looking for wombats. And he found one. It entered the pipe behind him, dug in, and then refused to move, trapping for a panicked 15 minutes. Once Andrew had learned his lesson, the wombat scurried off.

Among his many errors Mr Irwin in training, Andrew ucles seems to think wombats understand English. Good luck with that, mate.

    Dumb fucker…leave our wombats alone.

Crikey, what kind of idiot crawls head first into a friggin’ pipe? That takes a special kind of stupid.

What a total asshole. The human, not the wombat.

As an Aussie animal rescuer and rehabber, please don’t watch this guy!!! He is the worst of the worst.

  • Wombats rule!

Looks to me like a wombat doing what wombats do… and a human being doing something dumb, which is pretty much what human beings do too.

I preferred the shirtless part of the segment.

  • Lesson #1: Leave wombats the fuck alone. Or they will fuck you up.

WTH? That wombat didn’t do anything remotely “bad”. And the guy wasn’t searching for wombats. He was searching for foxes. And I don’t see how you could call the video “Wombat ATTACK.” Where’s the attack? He didn’t bite or scratch the guy. He just panicked and dug in…

I’m so claustrophobic, I couldn’t stand to look at most of the clip.

Thanks, because I needed a good reason not to crawl into a pipe.
