Wingsuit flying into Rio (video)

It’s surprising that they were allowed to do this (perhaps they weren’t), but it looks like an incredible experience.

Maybe not one that I would want since I hate heights, but still pretty wild.

Somewhere in one of those tall buildings, there is a cleaning crew that has just had a collective heart attack after watching two giant flying squirrels zoom past.

For a minute there, I thought you were implying these guys had effected a landing using only the wingsuits, which would’ve been even more amazing, and not with the usual parachute finish.

Even this though… yeah, flying through that small gap in the buildings was nuts.

Yeah that building trick looked really amazing or really stupid, or both. Still, I was impressed :)

Those wingsuits do not have enough area to keep anyone flying without a continual serious drop in altitude. Going between those buildings was just insane, (assuming it isn’t CGI!) I guess these guys are experienced and could make the mental calculations along the way, but it seems to me that could have easily turned out extremely badly.

How do you say ‘serious cajones’ in Portugese. Either that or ‘batsh*t crazy’.
