Montana TV station issues zombie alert, thanks to hackers (video)

Now that the State of the Union is over, and it’s a brand new day, and what a better way to start than with zombies.  (Well, okay, you could also visit the animated gif of Marco Rubio lurching for a bottle of water in the middle of his Republican Response – it’s a priceless moment, frozen in time, in American history.)

And who says hackers don’t have a sense of humor?

KRTV says on its website the hackers broadcast that “dead bodies are rising from their graves” in several Montana counties.

The alert claimed the bodies were “attacking the living” and warned people not to “approach or apprehend these bodies as they are extremely dangerous.”

Fortunately the network issued a correction that there was no emergency, just in case people actually believe it.

And the best part: Someone caught it on tape!

Does anybody say hackers don’t have a sense of humor?

Given that our Republican dominated legislature is in session now (and our Rethugs make the Tea Party look sane and reasonable), that may not be,so outlandish as it seems. I am waiting to see how different nullification laws are proposed this session. Thank Dawg they only meet for 3 months every other year.

I like their sense of humor a lot.
