Jon Stewart on Marco Rubio’s hypocritical State of the Union response

Jon Stewart notes that Marco Rubio thinks government can’t help you – it can only help him, his mom and his dad.

Stewart, sadly, did not get into Marco “Working Class” Rubio’s $675,000 home with a swimming pool.

He did, fortunately, get to Marco Rubio’s now-infamous water-lurch.

You forgot about his blue collar neighborhood of McMansions and swimming pools. Rubio is lucky he had the water bottle incident to distract everyone from the ridiculous content of his speech.

Actually the size of his house is (2650 sq/ft on a tiny lot, w/4 bedrooms…and that square footage means they’re very small) is a typical suburban family ‘econobox’ as I like to call ‘em.

What isn’t normal is the price he’s asking, which is nearly half again as much as comparables would indicate his place is worth there in that West Miami neighborhood.

First there was “I am not a witch” Christine O’Donnel, then ” A Chicken for the doctor” Sue Lowden, then The Vaginal Probe Gov. Bob McDonnell, and now “Water For Elephants” Rubio. These Repubs are hilarious

Anyone catch Fox News’ shameless day of Rubio damage control today, attacking all the other networks for replaying the “slurp heard round the world”? Of course. Don’t we all remember how sympathetic and understanding they were back during the “Dean Scream” and how it was used to destroy his lead in the nomination?
