Chris Murphy’s baby raises hand to be sworn in with Senator daddy

New Democratic US Senator from Connecticut, Chris Murphy, was being sworn in today by Vice President Joe Biden, and in the middle of the swearing in, his youngest son raised his hand because daddy had his hand raised.

This is one of the cutest things I’ve ever seen.

    Queue Tea Party outrage that his hand wasn’t physically on the Bible, and that Biden is genuinely good guy (and grandpa) making sure the 4-y/o is comfortable in the middle of it all.

      Additionally, Biden utters under his breath, when addressing mom and the Bible and the Senator not placing his hand on it… “Don’t worry, this is a reenactment.”

      Of course Dick Armey, er Newt Gingrich will be on FOXNews(R) tomorrow claiming that reenactments still require a hand on the Bible…
