Apparently it’s a woman in Barcelona, on the metro, with her duck.

No clue.

Of course, I want to know what Batman is doing standing next to her.

    That Duck must be an existentialist and her friend is sad because she just finished Simone de Beauvoir’s novel.

    Why is it sad. I think it’s cute. And are they sure she wasn’t speaking Catalan. That can sound a lot like French to those unfamiliar with it — and is more likely. The train announcements were in Catalan.

    Maybe she likes her duck really, really fresh and is planning on taking it home, killing it, plucking it, cooking it, and eating it.
    Oh, who the hell knows? I met someone last summer at a party, who brought along their pet duck. (It was an outdoor party.) They brought along their duck’s small plastic swimming pool, too.

        It was a party during the afternoon, and the couple who gave the party live on a farm, with several horses and a number of cats. A few people brought their dogs, so I guess it wasn’t too strange that someone would bring their duck, too. ;-)
