I love this song. It does what, in my view, a great song (and great writing) should. It picks you up and carries you along on a three-minute roller-coaster ride of pure joy, then sets you down exhausted and wanting to ride again. And I had no idea that Letterman’s Paul Shafer cowrote it. Martha Wash (oops, I called her Washington before LOL), 30th Anniversary – great job.
