Religious right blames gays, Romney for Hurricane Sandy

I asked yesterday how long it would take until a religious right nut blamed Hurricane Sandy on the gays.  And, my friends, we have a winner:

Just last August, Hurricane Isaac hit New Orleans seven years later, on the exact day of Hurricane Katrina. Both hit during the week of the homosexual event called Southern Decadence in New Orleans!

Hurricane Sandy is hitting 21 years to the day of the Perfect Storm of October 20, 1991. I write about this in my book as America Has Done to Israel. This was the day that President George Bush Sr. initiated the Madrid Peace Process to divide the land of Israel, including Jerusalem. America has been under God’s judgment since this event. Twenty-one years breaks down to 7 x 3, which is a significant number with God. Three is perfection as the Godhead is three in one while seven is perfection.

It appears that God gave America 21 years to repent of interfering with His prophetic plan for Israel; however, it has gotten worse under all the presidents and especially Obama. Obama is 100 percent behind the Muslim Brotherhood which has vowed to destroy Israel and take Jerusalem. Both candidates are pro-homosexual and are behind the homosexual agenda. America is under political judgment and the church does not know it!

Math’ll kill you every time.

Apparently, it’s Mitt Romney’s fault too:

[Romney] is a fully committed to the Mormon church. At one time he was a missionary and pastor. He gives large sums of money to this church. As a Mormon, he believes that the Lord Jesus Christ was brothers with satan. He also believes that Jesus Christ was born from physical relations between “elohim god” and Mary. He denies the blessed holy Trinity and has a pantheistic view of God in that there are multiple gods.

I warned and warned of the danger of this election, if the church did not repent before the Lord. America is under political judgment, and God’s people are looking for a political savior rather than crying out to God in repentance. Is a pro-homosexual Mormon going to save the nation?

This monster storm aimed at America and ready to inflict severe damage during election week is not a coincidence. Hurricane Sandy may flood Washington, DC on election day! It is like the hurricane is a huge bucket of vomit in America’s face during the election. What a sign from the holy God of Israel that American politics is an abomination to Him. A pro-homosexual Mormon along with a pro-abortion/homosexual, Muslim Brotherhood promoter, Hard Left Fascist are running for president. And there is no cry of repentance from God’s people! I see this storm as a warning from the LORD to call His church to repentance, This might be the last call from the Holy God of Israel.

Well, I mean, Romney does want to shut down FEMA.

    We’re all free to express our own opinions, but lumping all “Conservatives” or “Religious people” in with extremists is playing the hypocrite.  Don’t label/criticize one group of people for the follies of the few.

    When will MODERN HUMANS realize or accept that the stories
    in the Bible are FICTION. How can modern humans possibly believe that a God
    created an Adam from dusts and an Eve from one of Adam’s ribs?

     

    Christian leaders should explain how Noah and family were
    able to build the Ark. How long did it take them to build the Ark. How were
    they able to cut the trees, take the cut trees to level lands and make lumbers
    from it. How were they able to gather all the animals, especially the
    dinosaurs. How did they feed all the animals and how did they clean up the
    doodoos of the animals. How did Noah and family REPOPULATE the world? Where did
    Noah’s sons find their mates?

     

    All the Gods/Goddesses of the egyptians, greeks, romans and
    pagans vanished after a group of humans decided it was better to have ONLY ONE
    GOD. That showed humans can create, invent or eliminate Gods/Goddesses anytime.
    At present, there are as many Gods as there are religions so forget about the
    ONE GOD CRAP.

     

    No way can a human invented God get a very young virgin
    named Mary pregnant to give birth to Jesus. The virgin birth story was popular
    in mythologies. Jesus Christ was just the virgin birth version of the Christian
    cult.

    Hollywoodstein, God gave man free will.  That means we have the opportunity to choose right or wrong…. and as we all know, we don’t always choose right.  That’s why PRAYER is so important – it’s inviting God back into the world He originally gave us dominion of because we’ve made a mess of our world by choosing wrong so many times.  

    God can & does act on our behalf, but we have to choose RIGHT not our own way to make our world a better place & we must invite Him into our world once again to fix what we’ve broken. 

    We should never, ever blame natural disasters on God or gays or Christians or anyone.  We live in a broken world because we collectively as mankind have sinned and invited destruction into the world.  God warned us this would happen in Scripture, and now He’s spent many millenia fixing the mess that we’ve created. 

    I hope this helps.  Read the Old & New Testament – there is tremendous detail to how all this happened.  The entire Bible reads like one long storybook….. it is a story of God’s redeeming of mankind so that we can live eternally with Him one day…. but only if WE CHOOSE Him.

    2 Peter 3 explains why God is “Lazy” or “slow”….

    It is because God does not want anyone – including you gentlemen/ladies on this thread – to perish.  As simple & somewhat unfathomable to us as it may seem, God LOVES each of us & CREATED us to love Him in return.  He longs for His prodigal sons to turn back to Him, just like any good Dad does.  So He is patient, “not wanting anyone to perish but everyone to come to repentance”.  

    Yes, including “the gays” as this thread has labeled them, and the rest of us once-sinners.  That doesn’t mean Christians don’t still sin, but God no longer calls us sinners.  Once we accept Jesus as our new righteousness (or the way we become “right” before God), God sees us thru His son’s perfect sacrifice instead of our sinful ways & He declares us “righteous”.  I am a Christian, but learning to love & walk like Christ did is a life-long journey.  We are not perfect people, and I’m incredibly sorry many of us have gotten full of ourselves & bought the lie that we’re now perfect.  The only reason Christians are deemed ‘perfect’ or ‘sinless’ in God’s eyes is BECAUSE of Jesus, not because of anything we did…. All we chose to do is accept Jesus and say that we can’t do it without Him.  It takes humbling yourself and that is a challenge.  We humans don’t like to believe that we can’t earn our way to perfection or try hard enough, but the beauty of God’s gift is that it’s absolutely freely given.

     yeah, the bible is a storybook alright.  One big fairytale about events THAT NEVER HAPPENED.  FICTION. Get real: Noah’s ark, worldwide flood? Not possible for that boat to have survived as described.  With every animal in the whole world? NO WAY. It has already been figured out that there is no way all animals could fit on, with all supplies and food, as “tremendously detailed” in the bible.  NO PROOF of any worldwide flood in any geology, paleontology, archaeology, etc. Prayer: It changes nothing. There is no one listening. So you say we can “live eternally with god only if we CHOOSE him.”  So what if we don’t ‘choose’ him? Then what? Eternal hell? That is a no-choice choice. That is god using fear to force people to do his bidding. Some god.

    So what do you believe then U2Kimbow – how did we all get here?  Why is everything so perfectly arranged, even the human body, the earth in its orbit at the perfect distance from the sun to sustain life, enough trees to supply us with oxygen, enough water to sustain our earth & our human bodies?  If we evolved then where did the beginning matter come from?….. because, as science alone teaches us, matter can’t be created or destroyed.  So where did matter come from?  It can’t spring from no source.  

    God created us to love Him, but true love means there has to be an alternative to loving Him. Love doesn’t force itself on us ~ it gives us the choice to reject Him.  So God gives us the choice & gives us everything we need to choose Him: His word to learn more about Him, His creation to be in awe of so it reveals the Creator, His Spirit on earth to perform miracles.  But so many of us are jaded & don’t want to look up – we don’t want to believe.  So we don’t.  God doesn’t choose for us…. because to do so would be to strip us of our freedom to choose.  If we reject Him, we go to the place that is devoid of Him: hell.  My belief based on Scripture is that hell is the absence of God, a place of utter selfishness, no love (because God is the source of love), and chaos (because “God is not a God of disorder but of peace”).  He doesn’t send us there – we send ourselves.  He beckons daily for us to believe.  

    God doesn’t use fear to motivate us, He uses love.  ”There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.” 1 John 4:18  

    I highly recommend you read the Bible in its entirety before casting it off as foolishness.  It is a book to be read TOGETHER, not to be spliced up into segments.  You cannot get the complete picture of the Author if you neglect to read His book.  Even if you believe He’s a fairytale, many a man has believed the same about God and picked up His book & found Himself a believer.  Lee Strobel is such a man.  He was an adamant atheist who set out to DISPROVE the Bible’s validity, but the more he explored it, the more his eyes were opened.  I recommend his books “The Case for Faith”, “The Case for a Creator” and the “Case for Christ”.  They are fascinating books that deal w/ the scientific aspect of Christianity because Lee Strobel himself was a factual person who had to “see it to believe it”.

     McTernan is a danger to society.  On his John McTernan Insights Facebook page, he is inciting violence and hatred towards a group of U.S. Citizens.  One poster had the solution, “Purge all homosexuals.”  Anyone who dares defy the majestic McTernan or question his “proofs” are quickly banned from his site.  One poster posed intellectual questions and was quickly banned, the sure actions of a cult leader.McTernan reply was:  Floyd

    Get off your high horse. Don’t you read your bible? In that tome of pulp fiction, yes: gawd is a dick, and a mass murderer (you know, the mythical story of Noah and the ark in which EVERYONE ON THE EARTH WAS KILLED, if that is not a mass-murderer, then who is?), and a child-abuser and baby-killer (you know, the mythical story of first-borns killed in Egypt during Moses attempt at escape), and encourages slave-ownership, and encourages marriage of a rapist with his victim, and SO MANY other

    horrible anti-human abominations. You really need to read the bible with a more skeptical eye. A more REALISTIC view. Yes, if that god-of-the-bible were here, now, he would be in prison for the rest of his life for his crimes. You would not be looking at him with such rose-colored glasses as you have been taught to do in church and your schooling.
