Court rules in favor of Budapest Pride march, overrules police ban

It’s nice to see the courts side with human rights in places you might not expect it. You’ll recall that the bigoted Budapest police, apparently doing the bidding of neo-Nazis, last year manhandled a number of foreigners joining in the Pride march. Perhaps it’s time gay, and other progressive, travelers stayed away from Budapest if the hateful and intolerant local government is such a fan of Soviet-style violence against those it deems politically unfit.
