46% of Mississippi GOPers think interracial marriage should be illegal

Earlier today at AMERICAblog, John posted a perfect example of why we shouldn’t be putting people’s civil rights, like same-sex marriage, on state ballots. 46% of Republicans in Mississippi think interracial marriage, like Obama’s parents, should be illegal. I’m not surprised, but it is a teachable moment.
