The man is softer on rapists than he is on people with AIDS. And I do love how, if you watch the tape, Huckabee says he never defended quarantining AIDS patients, then he goes on to say that the only reason we didn’t quarantine them was “political correctness.” Oh, so Huckabee meant that he’s for political correctness? No. He clearly meant to criticize the decision not to quarantine AIDS patients. And this was Huckabee’s position just three years ago.
He’s really hoping the aw-shucks accent fools people into thinking he’s not a far right nut.
