Anti-gay Bush crony Scott Bloch may be heading to prison this afternoon

Good riddance. You might recall Scott Bloch as the Bush appointee who refused to implement President Bush’s own executive order banning discrimination based on sexual orientation in the federal workforce. Bloch said “nah,” not gonna implement the executive order. Joe and I went after him pretty hard back in 2005 when he was pulling these anti-gay shenanigans. So hard, in fact, that both the officially-designated hate group “Family Research Council” and the men at the Concerned Women of America got very upset at me personally.

Anyway, Bloch got caught lying to Congress, and with the help of the Obama administration he thought he was getting out of a mandatory jail term. Apparently he was wrong. Looks like he’s getting sent to the slammer this afternoon at 4.
