AMERICAblog’s Joe Sudbay is in the White House with four other top progressive political bloggers meeting with President Obama. The invites for the 45 minute Q&A; with the President came last week, but news of the event was embargoed by the White House until the meeting itself, scheduled for 3pm Eastern today.

Joe, representing both AMERICAblog and AMERICAblog Gay, will be the first member of the gay press to sit down for an interview with the President since Obama took office. There were no restrictions on what questions could be asked.

Joe will report back on his questions, and the answers he receives, after the meeting. More on the meeting here. ABC’s Jake Tapper photographed the gang right before the meeting.
