Debating DADT in San Diego

Got this video of a debate on a San Diego t.v. station on the repeal Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell. Col. Stewart Bornhoft, USA (Ret.), a 26-year veteran, represented SLDN. He’s a real class act. The opponent, right-wing radio host Rick Amato, couldn’t come up with a rational argument for his side. (But, Amato doesn’t have a problem with someone being gay.) And, the host was surprisingly good at holding Amato accountable.

You’ll note how the right-winger thanked Col. Bornhoft for his service, but apparently didn’t want him to serve.

San Diego is a military town. There’s a huge navy presence in that city. So, it’s good to see our side being so well represented.

Thanks to read Ron for sending.
